My Story

Storytelling has always been at the heart of my life. I began my professional writing career as a feature writer for two weekly newspapers in my hometown of Phoenix, New York, where I learned how powerful honest, well-told stories can be.

Later in life, I returned to college as a non-traditional student at Syracuse University—while raising a family and working as a school bus driver. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing and Communications, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and was honored through Syracuse University’s Writer’s Distinction Program.

My debut novel, Catherine’s Dream: A Story of Spirit and Courage, was inspired by my grandmother’s immigration journey from Poland to America in 1921. The book was a finalist for the CNY Book Awards and continues to resonate with readers through its message of resilience, hope, and pursuing one’s dreams.
